The Latin-American Journal of Computing (LAJC) is a biannual open-access peer-reviewed publication sponsored by the Faculty of Systems Engineering of the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador, one of the top research universities in Latin America.

Since 2014, LAJC publishes research articles in the field of Informatics, Computer Science, and Information and Communication Technologies. This journal is currently indexed in DOAJ, AmeliCA, Latindex Catalogue 2.0, Google Scholar, Biblat – Periódica, and Zenodo (OpenAIRE).

On behalf of our prestigious Editorial Committee, we are pleased to announce the publication of the Volume 9 Issue No. 2 (July 2022). In this issue, we present interesting articles written by researchers from Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Germany, and the United Kingdom in the field of cybersecurity, digital forensics, computer security, e-voting, inclusive education, and accessibility.

This issue demonstrates our continuous efforts to increase the outreach of open access research, and our relentless will to maximize the impact of our published authors’ work.
